MHD offers a Free Helmet Crash Replacement Program. If your helmet takes a significant impact, it should be replaced—even if there's no visible damage. Our crash replacement program helps you get back on the mountain with a replacement helmet, subject to program eligibility.
ERT (Energy Reduction Technology) is an impact-management system inside MHD helmets. Like Mips, it addresses rotational forces that can occur during a crash, but uses a different approach: a lightweight, flexible polymer structure that helps absorb impact energy. It's designed to help manage both direct and angled impacts using a lightweight, flexible polymer structure.

MHD helmets are designed with a low-profile shape to fit comfortably with many popular snowboard and ski goggles. Fit varies by model, so we recommend trying your goggles with the helmet before riding.
It starts with the lens. MHD goggles use advanced optical coatings applied using Satisloh technology, a global leader in precision lens coating systems. The result is sharp optics, reduced glare, and dependable performance across changing mountain conditions. Combined with dual-layer lenses, triple-layer face foam, and secure magnetic lens systems on select models, MHD goggles deliver premium performance without the premium price tag.
Yes, on models with interchangeable lens systems. Select MHD goggles feature magnetic lenses with an additional locking mechanism to keep the lens secure. Check the individual product page for compatibility.
Lens choice depends on light and weather conditions. Lower VLT (Visible Light Transmission) percentages allow less light through and are generally better for bright conditions. Higher VLT lenses allow more light through and are better suited for cloudy, stormy, or low-light days.
Avoid wiping the inside of a wet lens, as this can damage the anti-fog coating. Keep your goggles' vents clear, shake out excess snow, and allow them to air-dry completely after riding.
